Bomarea hieronymi is unmistakable and eye-catching. In a gloomy forest of green, the hanging inflorescence is one of few wonders of blossom accessible to us humans – as most is high in the canopy.
This is at around 2300 m elevation.
Native range is Colombia and Ecuador.
