Gurania makoyana is the second of two members of the gourd family (Cucurbitaceae) I encountered here.
I found it alongside the path up from the river, and a few other places around the open areas around the buildings of Amazon Research and Conservation Center (ARCC).
A decorative plant worthy of a place in a garden, in my opinion. Unfortunately I did not find any with fruit.
Native range is Southeast Mexico to Peru.
