An oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis) quenching its thirst. In the dry season water is critical, and if you provide access to water on your property you’re certain to attract all the local bird species, and many mammals as well.
This is shot at such a location – not far from a creek that also attracts many birds, but where the photographic setting is not favourable.
