Dirichletia obovata is a common and very variable species, here found in the Firhmin forest. In fact so variable that it was previously separated into three species:
D lanceolata – if you look at the leaves, you can understand why
D obovata
D venulosa
Dirichletia obovata is endemic to Socotra.
